Abstract / Summary

Fast ACS is a production-deployed ordered message-delivery system combining RPC for inter-cluster movement with one-sided remote-memory access inside clusters. Its explicit ordering, at-least-once delivery, consumer pacing and overload obligations provide a useful systems comparison for task-to-process boundaries and data-crossing contracts.
